Who we are
Mary Beth
Mary Beth is the founder and writer for Her Story. She is a social worker by day, a wife & dog owner by night. She loves food and watching Netflix. She is always seen with her husband Zach and her two adorable pups Arrie and Ollie. She hopes that Her Story can inspire all women to truly believe in their story and want to share it with the world.
Emily
Emily is the photographer and co-founder of Her Story. She is an elementary school teacher and loves to be around children. When she's not in the classroom she
enjoys spending time with her friends, watching movies and cooking. Emily hopes Her Story is able to inspire and encourage women to share their journeys of life with each other.
Emily and Mary Beth
Emily and Mary Beth attended Chelsea High School together, but never really knew one another. Emily was two grades behind Mary Beth, and they had mutual friends. While in High School, they had only met once, but became Facebook friends. Emily and Mary Beth went to the same college, but they never ran into each other. Five years went by before they reconnected via Facebook when Mary Beth was looking for a photographer. Mary Beth knew Emily was the right fit for this project because she was just as passionate about encouraging women as Mary Beth was. And so Her Story began and they continue to develop such a beautiful friendship through this journey.
